Q: I can’t access my account on mcphsce.org / I forgot my password.

A: If you have never logged into this site before, follow the prompts under “New Account Sign-Up” to set up an account.

If you have an existing account, first be sure you are entering the correct e-mail address that is associated with your account. If you need your password reset, click the “Forgotten Password” link and you will receive an automatic e-mail with instructions (be sure to check your Spam folder).

Q: How many hours of CE do I need to maintain my license?

A:   The number and type of required CE credits depends upon your discipline and state of licensure. Because these requirements are subject to change, it is best to review your licensure board’s website. Several applicable links are listed on our News & Resources page. MA licensees -- starting in 2015, the yearly requirement  increased from 15 hours to 20 hours.

Q: What is the compounding CE requirement for pharmacists in Massachusetts?

A: Starting with calendar year 2015, all MA pharmacists who engage in or oversee sterile or complex non-sterile complex compounding must be trained in USP Chapter 797 and/or Chapter 795. Please click here to view Board Policy No. 2015-02 which details the requirements that must be met and who is required to meet them. Q: What is the latest on the Massachusetts PMP?

A: Updates and information are posted to www.mass.gov/dph/dcp/pmp.

Q: When can I expect to receive my credit?

A: The credit process is outlined on our CE Credit Process page.

Q: I’ve lost my statement of credit. How do I receive a new one?

A: If you are a pharmacist, please log into CPE Monitor to view your transcript. You may also refer to this detailed instruction sheet.

For other disciplines, please log into mcphsce.org and click “View Credit Records.”

Q: Can I receive partial credit for a session if I arrive late or leave early from that session?

A: No. Per accreditation standards, credit cannot be awarded if a participant arrives more than 15 minutes after the start of a session or departs more than 15 minutes prior to the end of the session.

Q: If I need to leave a conference early, can I still receive credits for the time I was there?

A: Yes. Credit is assigned to each educational session as opposed to the full day event. Participants receive credit for each session they attend in its entirety.  

Q: My employer will reimburse me for CE activities. How do I get a receipt?

A: If you registered online, your amount paid is noted on your registration confirmation e-mail. If you registered by another method or simply need a more detailed receipt, please contact us. Be sure to include your full name, the name and date of the activity, your address, method of payment, and your method of registration (online/fax/mail).
