Thinking negatively? Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Miracles Now, suggests a simple exercise. All you need is a rubber band. Wear the band on a wrist. Each time you are aware of a negative thought, snap the band against your arm. Is it jolting? Yes; that is what you want. Take a deep, long breath and change your thought to releasing the fear and choose peace. By becoming aware of how your thoughts stress you, it is possible to choose a new perspective.
"Perspective from which you look at something determines what you see." -Anna Shenk
